Music in UKS2
In Upper KS2 the children have the oppertunity to sing, listen, compose and develop their musicianship through a range of musical activities.
Beethoven's Fifth
In Autumn 1, the children enjoyed listening to Beethoven's fifth symphony. They can identify the opening motif and have have been performing a simplified version using tuned percussion instruments.

In Autumn 2, year 6 gained some experitence of choral music by a local composer-Bejamin Britten. Children performed songs at our carol service and composed their own carol
