Beethoven's Fifth
In Autumn 1 children in Year 3 enjoyed listening to Beethoven's Fifth. They learned to recognise the opening motif and also to play the opening. They then enjoyed composing their own music around motifs.
Take the A Train
This half term LKS2 are listening to Take the A Train and learning about jazz and the blues.
The children have enjoyed learning the bass line of the twelve bar blues. Do have a listen.
Year 4 Violin Lessons
We teach every child in year 4 how to play the violin. We supply the violin for your child for the year free of charge and the lessons are free of charge for you all. The children make wonderful progress and after a few weeks are already using their bows. Please see the photos above!!
