Reading newsletter
We have started a half termly reading newsletter that will be coming home.
It contains ideas about some of the activities we will be doing in school to help promote the love of reading.

The Birthday Book Club Launch.
We are encouraging you all, instead of bringing sweet treats from home for birthdays, whether you might consider buying a book for the class instead? We will put a sticker on the book to show clearly who kindly gave it to us and whose birthday it celebrates.
Can you write a Book review about a book that you have enjoyed reading recently?
You can draw pictures from the book, tell us why you really recommend this book to your friends, and tell us why you chose it in the first place!
Remember to tell us the title of the book and also the author and/or illustrator. If you need a grown up to help you with some of the writing, that’s ok too!
These Book reviews will be displayed for everyone to read. If you write a book review to add to our collection, you will be entered into a half termly prize draw to win a book voucher.
