At Tudor we recogise the value of children being able to extend their enjoyment of music to acitivities outside of curriculum lessons and the impact this has on both learning and confidence. 

Tudor Singing Group.

We were delighted to be invited to sing at our parish church for their Carols by Candlelight service on the 17th December 2023.

The children sang beautifully and were heartily applauded!.

The KS2 School choir meets weekly under the direction of Miss Dixey. The choir helps lead our worship at key celebrations during the year and regularly performs at venues outside of school and to a wide range of audiences. Some of our recent highlights are singing in the Sudbury Music Festival, at the Christmas Lights switch on in the town and performing alongside our other MAT schools at Bury Cathedral. Over the next term we look forward to joinging our MAT choirs in recording a Christmas song and carol singing at a range of venues. 

Our Early Years and KS1 children are invited to join our singing group which runs one lunchtime per week. The children enjoy singing a range of songs and rhymes and have enjoyed performing to our school community during collective worship. Many of these children go on to join the KS2 choir.
